SERENITY SKIN & BEAUTY’S PRIVACY STATEMENT

At Serenity skin and beauty we take our privacy seriously. We will only use your information to provide services to you that you have requested and give you the information regarding treatments and products available here at serenity skin and beauty. Any medical information we hold will only be used by serenity skin and beauty staff in conjunction with your appointment and will be stored in a secured/locked location that only serenity skin and beauty staff have access to. Depending on the particular service/s we are providing we may ask you questions related to your medical history.  The correct medical information is necessary for us to carry out your appointment. We will never pass, share or sell any of your information onto any other third party other than salonlite which is our booking system and are fully compliant with GDPR. Salonlite will only hold your name, contact number and what treatments you have.

From time to time we would like to contact you with any offers or events we are running. We may also contact you reminding you of your appointments.

We are required under UK law to keep your basic details such as name, contact number, address, date of birth, email address and medical details for a minimum of 7 years after which it will be securely destroyed.

Your rights:-

If at any point you believe the information we hold for you is incorrect you may request to see this information and have it corrected, deleted or transferred.
Make a complaint- if you believe we are not handling your data correctly you have the right to complain. If you are unhappy with our response you can contact the ICO (information commissioners office) by following the link https://ico.org.uk/concerns

Please note if you do nothing or opt out your details will be removed, you will no longer receive emails and you may not be able to have treatments at serenity skin and beauty.

Serenity skin and beauty will reply to all messages via facebook and messenger. By contacting Serenity skin and beauty via these methods you consent to us replying to you.

Cancellations policy:-

Please give 24 hours notice for appointment 1 hour and under or 48 hours notice for appointments over 1 hour. If you are unable to make your appointment so that we may Rebook the time to another client. It is with regret to say that we now impose a 50% charge of the total treatment cost for missed appointments and cancellations with less than 24/48 hours notice. You may be asked to pay in full before booking future appointments.
